in one of my classes today, this girl tried to get everyone to walk out of class to protest the war in iraq. after about 15 seconds of silence, she left alone, and was promptly marked as absent for the day.

i respect the fact that people feel strongly about something, especially something as important as war. what i don’t respect is someone a) trying to force their views on others, and b) disrupting / wasting my time. i mean, honestly…. a walk out by yourself?

anywho, i’ve done a whole lot of nothing since i got home from school - no work tonight! so, i’m just watching war coverage on TV. word is that iraqi troops are coming out of baghdad to fight our troops. big mistake on their part. the best strategy for them would be to wait in the city for us to work our way in, then force us into urban warfare. our troops are about to face the teeth of the iraqi army…. lets hope for the best.
