in one of my classes today, this girl tried to get every­one to walk out of class to protest the war in iraq. after about 15 sec­onds of silence, she left alone, and was promptly marked as absent for the day.

i respect the fact that people feel strongly about some­thing, espe­cially some­thing as impor­tant as war. what i don’t respect is some­one a) trying to force their views on others, and b) dis­rupt­ing / wast­ing my time. i mean, honestly…. a walk out by yourself?

anywho, i’ve done a whole lot of noth­ing since i got home from school - no work tonight! so, i’m just watch­ing war cov­er­age on TV. word is that iraqi troops are coming out of bagh­dad to fight our troops. big mis­take on their part. the best strat­egy for them would be to wait in the city for us to work our way in, then force us into urban war­fare. our troops are about to face the teeth of the iraqi army…. lets hope for the best.
