A Real Weekend!
October 30th, 2004
How nice - finally, a full Saturday/Sunday weekend. After 2 months of crazy lab schedules & Saturday classes, I have a full weekend off for the next 2 months.
So far, my classes this month are pretty nice. They’ve kept me insanely busy, however. I’ve already had to pull an all-nighter for my Art Theory class, and I’m only 1 week into it. I have a few really big projects coming up, one of which is due Monday for my CG class. At first, I thought it’d be impossible to learn anything truly meaningful in a month here. Now, I see how it works. In one week, I’ve spent 20 hours in lectures, and 12 hours in the Lab doing Illustrator projects. And, again, that’s after one week! I’ve always been better at page layout, font management, typography, things like that (print media stuff, basically). I’m really excited that I’m going to soon have the ability to do some more creative stuff with tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc etc.
And now, I spend my weekend working on projects. So much for a social life, eh? Still though, I’d much rather be in my apartment working on a project at my own pace than being at the lab late at night or early in the morning during the weekend.

We have to go to the Dali Museum soon - before X-giving.
