November 17th, 2004

One week till thanks­giv­ing. I can’t wait to go home for a few days, just to relax and get away from school. Hope­fully, I’ll be able to see some of my friends in the Atlanta­land area while I’m up there, but I’ll only be in town for 4 days, so we’ll see what hap­pens. The highs are sup­posed to be in the high 50s and the lows in the mid 30s, so it won’t be too cold when I get up there, although it’s 85 here every day, with a low around 72 or so. It’s gonna be nice to get to wear a jacket!

I’ll say this though - I LOVE this weather. I can’t live any­where cold any­more. My goal now is to live in FL or South­ern Cal­i­for­nia after this year in school.

Speak­ing of school, I’ve seri­ously never been more con­sumed with one thing in my life. I have the week­ends off, but I still find myself devot­ing a good por­tion of that time to work­ing on get­ting projects com­pleted. It’s sad, because my social life has def­i­nitely suf­fered because of this. I feel like the few friends that I do have down here are being ignored at the expense of my stud­ies. How­ever, for­tu­nately most of them are also Full Sail stu­dents, so they under­stand what’s going on. It’s the people that don’t go here that are the ones I feel badly about. I feel like I’m string­ing these people along, because I’d love to spend time with them, but I cannot FIND the time to do so. Hope­fully I’ll get into some sort of rhythm soon where I can make time for people, and not JUST school. I love being busy, I just don’t like blow­ing people off because of it.

I’ll post my CD-​ROM inter­face I’m work­ing on when I com­plete it this week­end - I really like the way it’s turn­ing out so far.
