Well, it’s a new year, I’m back in Orlando, and I figure it’s time for an update. Also, I was scanning some old photos and I found this hideous shot, and thought I’d share with you all.
I headed back to Atlanta the week before xmas, and it was nice being back at my parent’s house. I had little or no plans while in town, so I got a lot of time to basically sit around and be a lazy bum, free of any responsibilities or deadlines. Obviously, with the holidays rapidly approaching, I had to brave the malls of suburban Atlanta, which were nothing short of insane. However, I did find what I needed, and got out unharmed.
Christmas came and went, and it seems to fly up and be over with quicker and quicker every single year. In any event, I think I got nice gifts for all of my family members, and I got a lot of great stuff from my family. My main scores were a nice new chair for my desk, an all-in-one scanner/fax/copier/printer, a Wacom tablet, a bunch of DVDs, and some Dali prints. All in all, I got much, much more than I asked for.
The rest of the week was spent hanging out with a few friends that were in town, and basically doing lots of maxing and relaxing. By the end of the week, I was ready to get back to Orlando and school, however. I headed back on New Year’s Eve, and made great time getting home. I guess that brings us up to now. It took me a few hours to unpack all the loot Santa brought me and get it all set up, and honestly, my apartment is still disorganized from the influx of new goodies. But, I guess that’s not a bad problem to have.
You know, I’m not really one for New Year’s Resolutions, but I think I came up with a fairly easy one: I’m going to try to be a bit more personable towards my friends and family. I have a tendency to kind of hang out on my own, and not really talk to anyone unless they give me a call. I need to work on not alienating those that I care about. As I said, this is a rather simple resolution: just call people more, things like that. We’ll see how that turns out.
Anyways, it’s nice to be back in the sunshine and 80 degree temperatures of central Florida. Hope everyone else had a good new year.

Yea, thinner for sure.
Hey Liz, glad you enjoyed RayJay. I hope you got to go up on the ship and take a picture or something! If I get tickets to Bucs games next year, you’ll have to come to one with me.
