April 1st, 2005

Well, after a nice relax­ing week in Atlanta, I made the trip back to FL last night around 9pm. It was really great to spend a lot of time catch­ing up on my sleep, get­ting well (I had been really sick last week), and seeing some friends that I haven’t seen since the Christ­mas hol­i­days. Most notably, it was good to get back to Dad’s garage, and go to Moe’s and Joe’s (and lose badly at trivia). I’m already look­ing for­ward to seeing every­one again in July. Funny thing is, that could pos­si­bly be the last time I’m there for a while, depend­ing on where I find a job after school. Kind of sad, really. I’m still torn as to where I want to end up once I grad­u­ate from Full Sail and get my free job. Time will tell.

I really think 2 weeks would be the opti­mal dura­tion for this break, as I’m just start­ing to get to the point where I can truly relax. For­tu­nately, it’s only Friday after­noon, so I still have the rest of the week­end to catch up on my video games and what­not. On a com­pletely unre­lated note, I’m start­ing to feel awk­ward being the only single person amongst pretty much every person I know. I think I need to do some­thing about that soon.

   Damnit. I’ve been so busy, I forgot you were going to be in town. Not that we’re best friends or any­thing, but I’ll try to catch you the next time you’re around.

   Yea, I’ll be back in July. You’ll have to go bowl­ing with us, and hope­fully we can sched­ule a raft­ing trip that week as well. Some­time between July 3 and July 8th would be ideal. I know it’s a long time away, but we should start plan­ning on another raft­ing trip.
