Downfall

I’m really excited to see this film about the final days of the Nazi regime in Germany during WW2. Because it’s a foreign film, and Orlando is devoid of anything that doesn’t have the name Disney in it, I think I’ll be heading down to Tampa in the coming days to check this film out. Anyways, go to the site and give the trailer a gander. Looks like a spectacular World War 2 film.

  1. I read a review of this movie about 2 months ago and it is supposed to be somewhat provocative in it’s portrayal of Hitler. I suppose it is provocative just to have a movie where Hitler is one of the main characters.

I’m in the middle of nowhere as far as independent film theaters go.

Speaking of film reviews, I rented one last night called Northfork. The movie came out in 2003 and it is honestly one of the most visually fascinating movies I’ve ever seen. The movie definitely won’t appeal to everyone that reads this page, however, it is an interesting flick about people being forced to leave an area to be replaced by a man-made lake.

  2. I’ll have to check out Northfork. I’ve never even heard of it, honestly.

And I think I’m going to see Downfall this coming weekend. It’s amazing to me how many people read my blog that I don’t know about. It seems about everyone I know has approached me in the past day about this film, and how they have been wanting to see it as well.
