This is nor­mally some­thing I’d post in my tum­blelog that I talk about so much nowa­days, but this news is just too big to pass up post­ing here.

Rumor has it that there is an Arrested Devel­op­ment movie in the works. Granted, this is all pend­ing a lot of deal­mak­ing and cast­ing work, but I can’t see any of the main cast mem­bers turn­ing this down. From the inter­views I’ve read and seen, the cast was absolutely crazy about the show, the script, the writ­ers, and would prob­a­bly jump at the oppor­tu­nity to work with them again (not to men­tion make a ton of money off of fan­boys like myself who would see the film numer­ous times in the the­ater and buy it when it comes out on DVD).

It appears the major thing hold­ing this project back is the writer’s strike - and who knows how much longer that will last. In any event, any news that some­thing like this is even being talked about is good news to me.

So yeah, fin­gers crossed.
