Refresh.
February 3rd, 2008
I’d like to welcome everyone to the new version (version 5 by my count) of my site (1 1.5 2 3 3.5 4). There will be some kinks as always (notably the search feature, categories index & static pages aren’t perfect yet), but I feel that it’s ready to push out the new design.
I’ve decided to focus on making my blog more about the individual entries I write, and less about all of the external stuff like my flickr photos, cool links I’ve come across, and twitter updates (the list goes on). Those things will be reserved for the Tumblr part of my site. Eventually the tumblelog will be the first thing you see when you go to danielandrews.com, but all in due time. I first want to get the layout working on the blog then I’ll make the necessary changes to that. If you’re the type who wants to read one or the other (or both), there are RSS feeds for each area.
I’ll be making more tweaks to the layout in the coming days as I discover small bugs I didn’t see on the testing server, but I hope you like the new look. I’ve tried to further simplify things here, and I think I’ve accomplished that goal.
Welcome! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
